| Summary: Molony is nothing if not consistent, posting the exact same OPS in 2025 that he did in 2024, .969. He has excellent bat-to-ball skills thanks to a quiet swing that allows him to barrel up balls consistently. Despite this, he isn’t much for using the whole field, as he is quite pull happy, but that is also where his power plays. The raw power isn’t great, but that knack for the barrel allows his current power to play to potential, which is fringe average. He will never be a Gold Glove winner, but he has a good first step and solid lateral mobility, so sticking at short is definitely in the cards, and the arm is no doubt one that belongs on the left side. If he can show a better ability to go with the pitch, which may help his struggles against offspeed currently, he could lock himself in as a first round pick in 2026. | |||||||||||
