2026 MLB Draft: Sean Duncan, LHP, Terry Fox Secondary

Player: Sean Duncan
School: Terry Fox Secondary (CAN)Position(s): LHP
Height: 6’3″Weight: 180 lbs.Bats: RightThrows: Left
Summary: A projectable lefty from Canada, Duncan has the potential to be one of the highest Canadian prep arms selected in a MLB draft. He is long and lean with a loose and clean delivery where the velo comes easy. He fires from a 3/4 slot but has a super quick and whippy arm that is not the easiest to pick up. He fills up the zone and has advanced pitchability of his full four pitch mix. The fastball is currently upper 80s into the low 90s topping out at 93 but pairs it with his best pitch, a low-to-mid 80s changeup he tunnels really well. As he adds velo to the fastball and the differential grows between heater and cambio, it will play up even more. He has two breaking balls that do blur together at times. His curve and slider work 73-79, with the lower half of that velo band a more depth and curveball shape, while the upper half has more sharp slider actions.
