| Summary: With a deep crouch and real weight shift at the plate, the swing is not ideal, but it certainly works for him. While he does not get cheated at the plate and his head can pull off when looking to drive the ball, the hit tool is actually well ahead of the power, although both project to be at least solid average. Defensively is where there is some debate in the scouting community. He is twitchy and athletic around the bag, so there isn’t much question he will stick up the middle, the question is whether short or second is the better future. I like his arm better than most and feel it is more than enough for the left side. While it is no cannon, he can make all the throws and I firmly believe he sticks at short. | |||||||||||
