| Summary: Young for the class, Booth is a combination of current tools and massive projection. His best tool is true double plus speed that makes him a menace for opponents on the bases and allows him to cover a ton of ground in center. Defensively he is still somewhat raw and the reads/routes could use refining, but the wheels allow him to make up for that and he should be able to stick in center. He also has great bat speed that allows him to occasionally show the plus raw power in the bat, although in game he can lose the clean stroke and get a little disconnected. That said, he makes plenty of contact and a little tweak here and there could see him really take off and take big steps forward heading into his draft year. | |||||||||||
